Frith & Inlé adapts classic literature for the stage.

A Wrinkle In Time

A Wrinkle in Time has closed!

This April, Frith & Inlé returned to Church and Company in Hampden with a sold-out run of Madeline L'Engle's novel A Wrinkle In Time. Adapted by Eric Poch and directed by Sarah Flash Gorman, this intergalactic tale combined live theatre with puppetry by Devin Martin and Sam Grossman (Tryfuss Puppet Collective, Baltimore Rock Opera Society) and an ensemble score by Patrick McMinn (Impatience Machine, Dan Deacon Ensemble).

Watership Down

Frith & Inlé as a company came together in 2014 as a result of an effort to adapt the classic novel Watership Down for the stage. Local theater makers Chuck Green and Douglas Johnson got wind of each other's dreams to make this adaptation a reality, and thus came together and began the adaptation mid-year. Theater members Debra Lenik, Gregory Bowen and Sarah Flash Gorman learned of the project and joined without hesitation as it began in order to create the magic which saw six oversold shows in April of 2015. This group of people combined their artistic talents in order to make theater out of love, believing that drawing the audience into the intimacy and bareness of the effort would encapsulate them in an unforgettable shared experience.
